This episode to me is gross, but it's enjoyable for my tastes. Invader Zim is supposed to have some dark and gross humor. What I don't get is this show gets cancelled while SpongeBob gets a splinter and that goes off free while this doesn't.

Well, it wasn't really the content as much as the lack of viewership from the targeted audience. Also Invader
Zim had very high quality animation, which at the time was very expensive.

Oh. Tuff Puppy didn't hold my interest very well. If it's Butch Hartman trying to get FOP cancelled, then he's not a sellout (Unlike his friend, Seth MacFarlane).

Well, Nickelodeon needs to put SpongeBob SquarePants and Fairly OddParents to their coffins already. Look at Hey Arnold for example, it died as a great show. Both SpongeBob and Fairly OddParents lived too long that actually causes them to be the villains, meaning to become really awful shows that have way too many bad episodes. Unlike SpongeBob, characters like Sparky is so damn bad like what was the point of the character? The writers seems to throw him in just for a distracting gimmick in my opinion. If they keep making shitty practices like this, then it's a pretty damn good chance that both those shows will be forgotten years later despising the fact that they were both great shows before they were turned to shit.

Exactly. I always hear people wanting their favorite cartoons to keep making new episodes, but honestly I think that letting those shows rest is the best thing you can do to keep the initial quality.
Except Sym-Bionic Titan and Invader Zim, those shows I feel could have used a longer run.

Idk about Sym-Bionic Titan because I've never heard of it nor watched it. As for Invader Zim, I could go up until either six or seven seasons and stop there. I only like SpongeBob not just because it's nostalgic, but also because had great writing (Despised I'm With Stupid, The Great Snail Race and Party Pooper Pants), the characters were lovable, the humor is done in a cartoony and funny way, etc. Post-Movie SpongeBob is just brought back just for the sake of Nostalgia with very half-assed episodes and specials. You never know that some old school shows/games could be modernization in disguise while some modern shows/games can be old school in disguise.

Sym-Bionic Titan was created by the same person who created Samurai Jack and Dexter's Laboratory. I haven't seen much of it but it's not half-bad.
For me, I think shows should only be three to four seasons long since many cartoons begin to stagnate around the fourth season.
