I think the Rooster may be their best logo yet. Have you noticed it has the same eyes as Splaat? Oddly, the Rooster never scared me as a kid.

I think cause it's off in the background rather than right up in your face. Plus since it's a rooster, it loses the uncanny valley affect.

Have you seen the alternate version of the Robot logo, though? It's MUCH worse than the original.
Instead of starting out with the purple static, it starts STRAIGHT from a black blackground, the splat is merely rippled, Splaat constantly looks at you, and after he says the company name he smiles in a REALLY creepy way.

So the nope meter from this was 60% and then the alternate version went to 99%? Because if I ever see the alternate version, I will definitely die of a heart attack.

It might not be THAT bad, depending on how you feel about it.
In that version, Splaat isn't right bang in the middle like in the standard version (due to being in widescreen), but it IS hella creepy. Β But if you're not fazed by him anymore (like me) it might not be too much of a bother (even if it is a little disturbing).
It all depends on how you feel about Splaat overall.
