Vector assignment for my Digital Illustration class. Our theme was "Opposites", and instead of doing the typical opposites we usually think of first, I decided to take a different approach.
Armadillos normally burrow into the earth, but now they can enjoy the sky, too.

They're made to resemble both tree branches and tree roots, so you can decide if it's in the sky we know, or a sky beneath the earth. ^^
