Ushas waited. She had never had to wait before. Previously she had just given into the instant gratification of play with light. It came in all shapes and colors and forms, it could be any. Right now she was pregnant. Though she was growing, the shape was consistently round and slow going.

As she usually did when nothing was happening, which was always, she began to think about amusing herself again. She wanted to make light. Ushas soon found that she lacked the energy. The universe inside her belly was continually and forming and expanding. It was becoming extremely dense, and heavy. This feeling, inside her belly was her new favorite and she never wanted to end, but it came with a cost. She began to slow down. She began to use up energy.

When Ushas emits light she can simply re-absorb it because she is the light goddess. Back then, light literally had nowhere else to shine on but her. Unlike when Ushas plays in with light, the pregnancy was taking a toll on her energy. The universe growing inside required all her strength. She found herself growing faint and tired. As she drifted off too sleep she found that she couldn't believe how much she loved the universe growing inside her, more than she loved light. She didn't think she could love anything more.

In her last moments she felt her consistency of the universe growing steadily inside her and and it brought her comfort. "You're safe inside me." she thought. Then she was out. She slept for an unmeasurable amount of time. She dreamt of other beings shaped like her, of big life giving explosions. "What is life?" she vaguely wondered before being drowned in more unfathomable imagery. No one was around to hear her endless snoring.

Suddenly she awoke. She was crying. For the first time ever she felt pain. She didn't like the feeling she wanted it to go away. The universe inside her had finished forming and was ready to expand into the area around her, but there was only one way out. "I need to find some way....any way to make this awful feeling stop. After having a good cry her body began to give her answers.

Like many mothers that were destined to come after her, her vaginal canal began to dilate she began to feel the urge to push. Her universe was on it's way. She could not possibly fathom the way everything was about to change.

We mere mortals could not truly comprehend what a goddess looked like, even if she were sitting next to a her. As such, their appearances change constantly, as seen picture to picture.
