Ushas continued to dream. She was in a strange place. I had protective barriers made of stone she sat on fixture designed to bring her comfort. She had just eaten a ton of bananas and was luxuriating. She felt her next creation stir within her belly "What am I creating?" she wondered "Another Universe?"

There are a lot of words that you and I know that Ushas didn't know. She didn't understand the concept of a Goddess because she had never met one. Up until this point she had only met some fish, and what might have been a nautilus. Furniture and architecture had not been invented yet. Humans would not exist for another 150 million years. This is why what happened next confused her. A human male sat down next to her.

"Is he like me?" she wondered. He placed his hands on her belly and signed deeply. She felt a rush of warmth in her cheeks. She had never been touched by another living thing. "I will always help you make more," he said. She swooned. "What is this feeling." She didn't have time to find out.

With every one of her senses, Ushas perceived a loud hard splash and woke up on the ocean floor. All her senses were being assaulted, the sounds of the water, the feeling of water feeling her lungs, the sounds of the ocean raging, the smell and taste of salt, and her inability to form a thought were jarring. She just wanted to return to the dream, she wasn't sure which was the dream, but eventually, she found the shore.

She sat there discouraged. She had not found life. She had eaten much. She had a new desire for company after meeting the fish but was sure that the water was not her home. She needed a place to sleep, and she wanted to be pregnant again, just as in her dream. She let these thoughts roil around in her for a while until she calmed down.

During this time on Earth, all she had ever really wanted was comfort. She remembered the building she had seen in her dream and the comfort that it had brought her. "I can't make another universe, but maybe I can create this."

With the right type of narrow beam of light, she began to cut stone and fuse metals that she found in the earth and set to work building the sky temple. To keep it afloat, she made a core and imbued it with a substantial amount of power. The temple rose to the sky and floated. In this way, though not in the traditional way, Ushas invent architecture. She set to work building furniture, once again using her powers, this time to make the furniture. When she finished, she walked down the hall with a supreme sense of satisfaction where her new bed waited for her.

As she closed her eyes, she thought to herself, "This world came from me. I will learn to love it. I will find ways to get what I need." She planned to get up in the morning with the sunrise, but as we well know, immortal goddesses are bad at measuring time.

We mere mortals can scarcely comprehend the appearance and form of immortals. This is why you would not recognize Ushas, even if she was your next-door neighbor. For this reason, she looks different in every picture.
