"Okay....so I'm going to eat....and then I'll figure out how to get pregnant again."

Ushas was planning. She didn't know why. She had never needed to plan in the endless void. For the first time in her incredibly long life, she had goals. Her first goal would prove to be easy enough, but the second one would prove more complex, yet more simple than she ever imagined.

She took a short flight inland and landed in the jungle. She looked around. There were many beautiful plants, there was lots of moisture in the air, but no life. She found her way to a banana grove and began to eat large bananas. They filled her and gave her fast amounts of energy. "Eating is good! I should do it more often!" thought Ushas. She pictured herself eating only bananas, for she knew of nothing else that she could eat. She never dreamed of the many types of cuisine she would try in the future.

She made her way around the world at the speed of light, spending a day thoroughly exploring each stop. She walked through canyons. The next day she traversed a mountain, but she found no animals, or life that could speak to her. She took a break the next day in the forest, lying on a bed of moss, hoping that life would find her, but it didn't. In a vain effort, she crossed the tundra, using her light to warm herself and see the way. She was utterly alone.

Ushas was not clairvoyant, nor was she a time traveler. Time is just a concept by which living beings keep reference so those two things don't really exist. Additionally, it is easy for time to seem entirely insignificant to an immortal goddess. Without this kind of

"Eat food? Check. Figure out how to get pregnant? Not check." She flew up into the clouds towards the sun. Light always helped her make sense of things. However, Usha had forgotten to eat the last few days and began to feel fatigued. She closed her eyes for just a second. She was dreaming again; she felt a swelling in her abdomen. The power had returned. She ate bananas in a chair in a temple in the sky. "This is the life." she thought to herself.

As she slept Ushas was about to learn a harsh lesson about gravity.

We mortals can barely comprehend the form of a goddess. This would be true even if Ushas fell out of the sky into your arms. As such, she appears slightly differently on every page.
