Description
Part four of four of the My Little Pony anatomical structures. Featuring the famous Alicorns!M'kay, so wasn't able to fit all that I wanted into the description, so here's a basic overview of what Alicorns have compared to other subspecies:

This is certainly an interesting series you've made.
My own opinion is that the Earth Ponies would be both the tallest and stockiest of the three tribes, having the biggest and densest muscles and bones, granting them the highest natural strength and constitution amongst the ponies.
Unicorns would be shorter and lankier, as having telekinesis would lessen the need for a powerful body. The horn would be adapted as an effective stabbing weapon in situations that preclude the use of arcane magic, or if an opponent attempts to rush them and take advantage of their casting latency (i.e., the time it takes between deciding to cast a spell, charging it up, and actually firing the spell).
The Pegasi, I think, would be the smallest and most lightly built of the three tribes, but would have large flight muscles anchored to a pronounced keelbone underneath their chests. The wings themselves would also be fairly enormous, each one the length of their body from nose to hind hoof or longer. Weight is a serious issue in the physics of flight, and merely having hollowed-out bones wouldn't cut it here -- I think both gryphons and pegasi would need effective mass reduction as part of their natural powers... chalk it up to weather magic, I guess.
Of course, this is all just my personal head-canon. I wonder if the animators at DHX would have given the three pony tribes different body types if Hasbro had given them a bigger budget at the outset, instead of the cut-and-paste Flash elements that they normally use.
