Description
Another drawing of a Tyrannosaurus rex. I did not like some of the details of the previous figure (such as the shape of the thigh). So, here is more correct version from the point of view of proportions.
It is also the second best and my reconstruction lipped T. rex (yes, lipped theropods still have the charm ). In the future I will try to make more theropods with the lips (don't worry, it will not be a Spinosaurus).
Reference: scotthartman.deviantart.com/ar⦠Although the resulting figure is not the same throughout with skeleton, but considering the individual variability, it may be another rex.
Watercolor, black and white ink pens and black ballpoint pen, 2017.
Update: Scanned version.

You added a dewlap! I believe you are following John Ballaze's chart?

In fact, it was not a throat pouch, but the growth of cervical and soft tissue of the jaw, as in some lizards and crocodiles. What the chart?

A friend of mine drew a chart that shows skin imprints from later tyrannosaurs such as gorgo, Alberto, daspleto, tarbo and rex itself. The skin imprints are spread all around the body including what could be a possible dewlap from a tarbosaurus.

You mean the work by Fezraptor? Or the chart based on model from "Saurian"?

No, the guy is not on deviantart but has a Facebook page. His chart has been peer reviewed by paleontologists. Hold on, I'll find it.

This is a great T. rex, it's nice to see scaly tyrannosaurids making a comeback, so I do support scaly tyrannosaurids nowadays.

Thanks! Some artists continued to draw scaly tyrannosaurids even after the descriptions of Yutyrannus. You are probably familiar with the works of Sergei Krasovskiy?

Nice, glad you'll go with all alternatives(still waiting for one with scales and skin). Still using Tom's tyrannosauroid feathering as a guide for the latter?
