I had overlooked this image plenty of times, I have put it in my favorites, commented on it, but find myself coming back to look once more. This image is just beyond amazing in my eyes, the fact that it is in black and white gives it a dark yet powerful feel making the viewer see the tree as indestructible. The long exposure really puts the icing on the cake for me as those clouds are just incredible and so perfectly composed over the tree. I'm a sucker for black and white photos such as these, though I do feel that some of the areas towards the bottom could be either brighter or mostly one tone. Its an easy thing to over come, but it is obvious that the tree is what needs to be emphasized under these conditions. Overall, it is a great image, and would not mind having this hang on my wall.

Amazing shot. Really engaging. Great use of shutter speed (I'm guessing) or actually, on second thoughts, even if it the movement is created artificially it's executed nicely, and would look great on my wall if they weren't accounted for, and the contents of my wallet account for too... I will add it to my wish list
Great stuff
