Description
Update/Edit The latest XNALara version is available now here --> New XNALara version 9.9XNALara is an Windows tool to pose 3D models and render images.
Update: version 9.8
- Redo command: the shortcuts are Ctrl+Y and NumPad6 (it only works for bone transforms)
- Undo command: the shortcuts are Ctrl+Z and NumPad5 (it now works for each selected item individual)
Download link: www.sendspace.com/file/8jdi5y
After Dusan has stopped to update XNALara, and after XNAaraL has stopped to release new XPS versions, shreis have point me to a request by Whetsit-Tuya to add a "Ctrl+Y/Redo" command comments.deviantart.com/20/135…
After I've spent hours to understanding how the XNALara posing works internally, I understand why both rejected the request.
Be aware that Redo does not undo the last Undo command. Just as like an twice "undo", the 2nd Undo doesn't undo the 1st Undo, both do undo the previous posing transformation.
Redo works also without a previouse Undo command. The Redo command repeate the latest posing of the selected model.
Disclaimer:
XNALara version 9.8 is based on Dusan's XNALara 9.7.8 and to the best of my knowledge, this project does not include any extensions from XPS or from any other software.

Hey do you want to share the changes on a github repo? github.com/AerysBat/XNALara
You could make your own repo if you're planning to develop it actively and want to encourage others to do so.

Sounds like a reasonable idea. Next week, I will create a patch (diff) and send you the modified classes / methods with private note.

So they quit releasing updates to XNALara and XNALara XPS for good? I've been away a while, mostly, and haven't kept up.

The product life-cycle theory
Stage 4: Decline
XNALara users are away awhile, mostly, and haven't kept up.
Yes, unfortunately both have stopped releasing updates
My experience with my XNALara version 9.8 update is that no one seems to have interest in new versions.
I have currently only one request to add XNALara with a multilingual user interface ( To translate it into spanish ).

It is a lot of effort to make it. It requires an "internationalization" and "localization".
In computing, internationalization and localization are means of adapting computer software to different languages, regional differences (like 0.99 vs 0,99) and technical requirements of a local target market.
"Internationalization" is the process of designing a software application so that it can potentially be adapted to various languages and regions without engineering changes.
"Localization" is the process of adapting internationalized software for a specific region or language by adding locale-specific components and translating text. Localization (which is potentially performed multiple times, for different locales) uses the infrastructure or flexibility provided by "internationalization" (which is ideally performed only once, or as an integral part of ongoing development).
If nobody else (native speaker) is willing to translate the text (localization) of the "Control Window" and all of the "Dialog Boxes" into another language, then I will not make the effort of "internationalization" and I also quit releasing updates to XNALara for good.
It is quit simple: No market ; no producers ; No new products
When production effort are high and demand is low, it is not offered on the market for a long time and, eventually, is withdrawn from the market in the '‘decline'’ stage.
Riding the waves ; I see no waves.
It is not a matter of "to distribute it as much as we (I) like " ; It is a matter of "to distribute it as much as others want (need)"

Hello, can you show me the newest version of XPS/XNA to download, like version April 2018
Also is it true that it will never be updated again?

XnaFreak In reply to Whetsit-Tuya [2018-04-25 09:12:44 +0000 UTC]
My knowledge is that the last but not least version can be downloaded there:
" XPS"
" XNA Framework Redistributable"
Be aware, both works not together, even if somebody else claim this!
I would also like "version April 2018", but it sounds like an "April Fool's Pranks"; or you refer this XPS ? This XPS 13 and 15, you cannot download, you have to buy it
Sounds like it's true, no market ; no producers ; No new products
When production effort are high and demand is low, it is not offered on the market for a long time and, eventually, is withdrawn from the market in the '‘decline'’ stage.

Yes, well, unfortunately I have major real life problems and survival concerns. That takes precedent over pretty much everything. Not to mention I mostly make art privately (for myself) after numerous bad experiences here in the past which pretty much take the fun out of posting stuff here, so while I like doing stuff privately I find it hard to find motivation to post much here aside from commission examples, and even then...
Anyway, if I update to your version here I won't need to download their last, correct?

Yes, fas real life has priority.
It is like the taste of chocolate.
Well, it means that you don't really know what a chocolate tastes like until you bite it. And in the end, you've tasted whether you liked it or not.
And if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you got left is an empty box ; and fat hips

???
There IS a Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Y) for bone transforms !
What you try?
Picking Hanzo and being horrible (being a dumbass)?
Picking Torb and trying to set up turrets (Ignorant)?
Choosing Junkrat and spamming. ?
Trolling?
...
Whether it's someone intentionally or unintentionally trolling, does it really matter what we call it?

Heyy um is there a page where it shows all the controls of Xnalara? Like shift+lmb move camera, ctrl+alt+lmb move model?

XnaFreak In reply to PlERSNlVANS [2017-09-21 06:35:56 +0000 UTC]
Sure! Like every other application, XNALara follow the standard for user interfaces (SAA)
Where is the Help button in XNALara?
Common User Access (CUA) is a standard for user interfaces to operating systems and computer programs. It was developed by IBM and first published in 1987 as part of their Systems Application Architecture.
Applications have inline help accessed by a Help menu, which is the last option on the menu bar, on the right side.
BTW:
NOT "shift+lmb" move camera !!!
Shift + RMB drag ... move camera forward/backward
.and.
Shift + LMB drag, or LMB + RMB drag ... pan the camera !!!!!
NOT "ctrl+alt+lmb" move model!!!
(Shift +) arrow keys ... move model on ground plane (two speeds)
.and.
Ctrl + LMB click/drag ... position the model on the ground plane !!!!!
Pressing the "Alt" key, is is useless, and like Dusan (The XNALara Creator) mentioned:
Last time I did that I nearly destroyed my hands due to overuse.
