Description
This was an art class project concerning the concept of "dominance." It was originally created using construction paper and a sharpie. I am hoping for some feedback ... yes, that means you.Related content

Damn, that is really amazing. It reminds me of a mixture of chinese life with components of warmth.
Combining physics, nature, mathmatics and heart
Very nice.. *nods nods*

I've been thinking about this deviation for a while now, and I truely think it's a great design. But I wish I understood more of it, where is the dominance? in the overlapping "pipes"? and what does the orange cube signify? and the boxes under it?
If I am to make a wild guess it think that the orange box frames the collision, or overlapping. But that is all I have thought out.

The orange cube dominates the piece. The dominance is in the size and the bright color of the cube. The small boxes increase in size from the bottom up in effect pointing to or emphasizing the orange cube, kinda like putting it on a pedestal. The "pipes" are there just to make the piece interesting. Imagine the piece without the "pipes" and you'll see what I mean. Thanks for your comment.

Ah, thank you for that explanation. That makes a bit more sense then my weird thoughts. I made it a bit to complicated.

the composition is really nice and I also get a sense of vertigo. your choice of colors or rather lack of colors works well too.

I will keep it up. I have some other work to put up, but I just moved into a house and everything is everywhere ... but it is a priority.

I tried a black frame and it did not look as good. Maybe some other color would work.
Thanks for your comment.
