What the hell? Why is DA being so diffecult with categorization?! I wanted to section this in anthro but had to put this in Fanart?

I'll put this in the scraps later for what it's worth.

New design, Wraith. He is rising from a bunch of oil and seaweed on the coastline. Who tried to kill and bury him there in the first place obviously did a bit of a bad job. He's back, with oil slick coating his fur.

Okay, this is Wraith's new design. Yet again. He started off as a Shadow recolour [link] (April 2003- May 2004). Then ~LWMusicoftheNight came up with a template [link] which I slightly modified [link] Notice how I added little strands, chopped the quills and changed direction and flare? No? N/m....

And now this is the new quill style. It is wild, haphazard, sharp, perhaps a bit weird- but I like it and that is what counts. Ultimately it's important to have a design which looks competent from various angles, I think.
The quill style was slightly inspired by Kazuya Mishima (Tekken 1,2), and Deacon Frost (stephen Dorff) from Blade. They both have icey personalities and I dig their sharp hairstyles. I really wanted to apply some of that, to this.

Tuft of fur stays because at the end of the day, he is a genetically engineered Shadow Clone, created by GUN. A large part of his bitter personality is the fact that he struggles to come to terms with his identity, being a manipulated copy bent under a force's will- which ultimately tears him to pieces. His special power is to project ice beam from his eyes and is known as an 'icey' individual. Despite his powers, his inner torment and incapability to overcome all that haunts him always drags him back down to square one again. His stubborness, complacent and presumptious nature is also a pitfall.

I did not do this, just because of 'Mysery hedgehog', in the new Sonic game. Although I am aware I have involuntarily become a subject of scrutiny and I am surprised at how seriously the community seems to take these things. In all honesty, I was rather apathetic about all this .
Furthermore, I would rather have full custody of the design. Don't want to cause friction or resentment... even if a 'friend' were to come up with, oh-i-dunno, the 'stripe-on-the-tail' idea. -_- I don't do 'joint' anythings anymore. Lol. If I ever get married, I'll definately get my husband to sign a pre-nup. ^^

I did this on ShiPainter Pro. I regret not doing it on PS7... but I guess I was fiddling with the design for 3 solid evenings on Oekaki before I was satisfied.

And that's a wrap. I am off to bed. 4:30AM. Finally I have ascertained some peace with what was bugging me recently.
