What She'd Rather Do: Peace Cor or Psychology

She doesn't normally dress like this, she's just a normal girl, who happens to be Native American. She's a smart, compassionate, and rather idealistic person who is often too altruistic for her own good. She's the type that will help people and pick them up, instead of just letting them lean on her.
She's got her share of problems, too. For instance, since her parents left the reservation for the east coast, her grandfather sees them as abandoning their culture, Tiponi is torn between her ancestors and the life her parents have given her. On top of the stress of that, since her grandfather often comes to visit for plot reasons, her mother has gotten cancer. This leads to the fact she'll carry people without letting herself receive any help. Anyone that knows about mental health will tell you that that isn't good.
Other than being someone for others to turn to when they're in trouble, she has a passion for writing poetry. She has a little black book of poems where she rights what ever comes to mind, from simple couplets, to long epics. Her writing is an outlet for her personal pain, and will come up in either story.
