hi there!this is the first tutorial for the creation of a windows 7 visual style,more tuts are coming soon ,it is better to download the image to have a more clear view of the tutorial
this are some useful psd's which can help you [link] ,if you don't have photoshop you can open them with "the gimp" which is a free alternative for photoshop
win7 style builder is not free ,purchase it here [link]

Thanks for reply Yacine...its always nice to have something from you....later after practically done I was able to understand...I was confused at the point where cut paste is mentioned.I am desperately waiting for other tutorials ans especially the image in the stream section of msstyle....hope you will explain it for my and other's convenience. no problem
1- create a button in photoshop"40px x 100 for example"
2- now duplicate the layer of the button and add a gradient or change its color,
3- do the same work 3 time to have 4 buttons"normal,hot,pressed,new program"
4- save every button in a png file
5- the button you have created doesn't extend the start menu so replace the images in "list item" ,replace the images one by one
6- now for a button which can extend the start menu ,the images of the buttons are in "jump list list item left " and those with an arrow are in "jump list list split button right
so you have to do the same work

i can credit him for the idea although i thought to create an office vs before he made sonye, it is no problem ,but all the resources i used were made by me and you can ask him
