Well, this was a very strange, yet magical orca interaction.I was waving my toys around and stuff, trying to get either of the whales (Uli and I think it was Ike) to come over. I was giving up hope, so I put my toys away. Then, about 5 minutes later, Ulises came up to a group of young children and was just staring at them, like you see in this photo. Everyone was excited and started gathering around where he was. Then Uli kind of drifted off to the surface, and stayed there for a couple minutes. Some of the people left, so I took their spot, because I wanted a good look at this beautiful whale. But then, he came down again, and started staring at me and the other people! I looked straight into his eye and it was just indescribable. I'll never forget this, he's so special to me now.

He is one remarkable, special boy. Glad you were able to have this interaction; I'll look at this picture and imagine this is what it would be like if I were ever to have an interaction with him myself. Love this a lot.

They are such amazing creatures. I just love watching the Orlando pod whenever my fiance and I go. They're just as curious about us as we are about them. I feel so fortunate to live so close to the Orlando park. And thanks to my fiance giving me such an awesome Yule present, I can get amazing pictures if them
