Ep.10: Immature Independence

Alek and his brothers and sisters are two years old and with 1,8 meters long. They now display slight changes in the coloration, including darker plumes, typical of adults, a larger crest and dark yellowish-green wings. Males, like Alek, start to develop the typical white tail wings, but they have still a while to endure before becoming sexually mature adults. For now, they live in harmony as a creche of little fleet-footed omnivores, that inspect every aspect of this seemingly harsh forest, filled with rivers and floodplains. One of the Anzu investigates the softshell turtle Axestemys infernalis, whose name only fits with the geological formation they lie.
