This is my 1st Windows 7 VS Mood, so be kind and if you can help me fixing the bugs found I would be very glad and appreciate it.
Tested on my Windows 7 Professional x64bit system.

Some part of it are untouched to make it more simple like Windows 8 Aero...
This VS its like Windows 7 Aero and Windows 8 Aero in one

The start button need to be changed... Also the "Hide desktop" button in the bottom right corner doesn't look like the one in Windows 8, it's just the same one as in Windows 7. But i like everything except that, hope you fix it soon

the edges on icons on taskbar on my VS are squared intentionally, because I like it that way the the rounded one.
and yes, I already saw the Win8 Dev Preview, I did install it when it first came out publicly.
Simple 8 VS is an inspired theme from Windows 7 Aero and Windows 8 Dev Preview, but It dont really looks all the same, I intentionally did that, to make it more simplistic look and not bore you for a long time use in your PC,
because most fancy VS we saw here in dA was very awesome but after a few hours or a day we got bored with it quickly, so my Simple 8 VS is to make it simple as possible and get some Windows 7 Aero and Win8 looks at the same time...
The Aero Peek/Show Desktop button will be changed, and the start button is also an optional thing ( I already make a start orb button for simple 8 vs long time ago from here > [link]
and i think that perfectly fits on simple 8 vs...

about the real windows 8 preview link you posted, look at the aero peek button and on my VS now [link]
they are the same as mine but the only difference is the main taskbar I changed mine to more clear taskbar and simple effect, that is why it looks different
and the line inside the window is the same with my simple 8 vs, but the real Windows 8 Dev Preview is not full transparent that is why the effect of the 1px border doesnt looks the same (Simple 8 VS is translucent)
i didn't make this VS to make it looks like the real Windows 8, instead I make it more elegant looking simple clean Aero VS

This theme broke UX Style. I can no longer install third party themes.

really? just to let you know there are no system files inside the archive only a theme, I doubt that it can break your system..
and FYI, uxstyle is buggy, I too experience it even on other 3rd party themes here on dA..
sometimes the service of UXStyle doesn't work very well...
Its the UXStyle bug not the theme.. I suggest to use UX-Theme Multi-Patcher instead...

I recommend to use the UXTheme Multi-Patcher, only one time patch and you wont have any problem in 3rd party themes..
I also tried UXStyle few months back, I noticed sometimes the themes not working anymore, I had to restart and it works, sometimes not, and also re-install uxstyle again. so, I decided to remove UXStyle and use UXTheme Multi-Patcher instead...

At first I thought there were conflicting resources, because I currently use FediaFedia's Windows 8 theme. Scared the heck out of me until I saw the default theme was still working, so I tried uninstalling UX Style, and then re-installed it, to have it work again.

You have to select the simple 8 theme from the personalization to load the original theme
