The official character lineup! Lookit all dem beautiful characters! I am REALLY proud of the character silhouettes and the designs. I can’t wait to be able to start showing off pages once we reach that point. The first chapter is all sketched out, I just gotta line them, drop them off to my flat colorist, Icymasamune , then put all the lovely textures and finished colors and lighting on it, and we’ll have that first chapter/pilot.

Yeah... at some point the heights kinda went outta control- mostly due to the fact that they were drawn one at a time rather than all together. Mostly their heights are all relative as opposed to hard numbers.

I think that's the first time anyone ever compared my work to that movie. Also I'm confused as to what you mean by "artist you've featured".
Edit: alright, I was just going to leave this alone, but it's bugging me too much. Unless an artist specifically mentions style/design inspirations/intentions from other creative bodies of work, it's pretty rude to compare someone's work to another person/company's creative work. I'm pretty sure you don't mean any harm by it, but it can be pretty offensive. A better way to go about it might be to ask the artist if they drew inspiration from other artists/movies/etc. Or just ask them if there are specific inspirations behind their design choices. Making comparison comments without explanation or context can make your words sound arbitrary and it doesn't really denote whether you think it's a good or bad thing, just that you think this person's art looks like someone else's with no indication as to whether that is a positive or negative thing.

Oh, I didn't mean to offend you, I'm sorry...although I've never in all my years been called "rude" for drawing analogous relationships between drawing styles.Then again, I didn't realize I was actually commenting on your drawing -- "Artist you've featured"...this was linked to on a friend's journal (hence how I found it). Like I said, I thought I was commenting on someone's journal, not actually, not your drawing.
Although, while I'm here, I will explain. It was a good thing. The line weight, the color, the expressiveness of your characters are what led me to that "comparison."
