if i where you i would give an option to replace the steam symbol on the start button with a regular windows start symbol and give an option for a more neutral symbol-less background that fits with the rest of the theme.

I saw someone on Facepunch comment on how you should change the start button and such to the steam user picture, that would be a great addition

I'll try porting it myself, if it takes too much time to port (since I'm a beginner) I might release it later than the initial Windows 7 version, but I'm planning to make it as soon as I can, especially since I'll have to start porting themes either way; everyone whom I asked or paid to make ports for my other themes have quit on me sadly.

if you're a 'beginner', then most other people making windows themes on DA basically haven't started yet
your work is excellent and i look forward to seeing what you do when you think of yourself as an 'expert' or a 'master', like many of the rest of us see you!

Nice, but for some reason I remember steam having a diagonal design in the titlebar, where the one here is just black. Maybe I'm thinking of Aiseesoft BD Software Toolkit.

Good point, I'll make a version with the diagonal design in the titlebar too probably (as in the Steam main window), and one simpler like this (like if you open the settings window, or the logon window for Steam).
