Roksmashs are a species of aquatic monkey that evolved fairly recently. Despite looking similar to most aquatic monkeys, they behave much differently. Most aquatic monkeys taht hunt crustacean prey after killing it, drag it up to the surface. Then, they slam the body of the prey into a hard rock, thus breaking it. After a few million years of evolution, roksmashs picked up on this, and instead use the rock to break the prey, saving energy. Roksmashs are mostly solitary, but mates cooperate together to raise their young and hunt. They can swim up to 10km/H, which is about the same speed as a crayfish. Roksmashs make crazy darts and turns during their chase. Their legs are tucked right near the body, allowing for more hydrodynamic movement. When it almost catches up, it spreads its legs and does an action similar to the breast role, but only the legs. The arms jut forward, grasping the crayfish in its grasp. From there on, a meal is secured. Twins are the most common, and they swim and learn form their mother. The father leaves the mate to search for another. Roksmashs are fully carnivorous, and prefer crayfishes to isopods. Another aquatic monkeys can dig underwater, and the roksmashs'd rather not do something that it's not specialized in. Roksmashs are among the first to venture into marine habitats, though they prefer the freshwater. Not quite developing salt resistances, they return to the rivers ever so often. But, in the absence of large amniote predators, they in time will take to the seas.
