Updates in 1.8:Full-size the Preview!!!
This is FINAL.. no more changes
and if any x86 user is experiencing weird bug in superbar buttons then install the theme in the x64 folder

Wallpaper: Flavoured by ~Digitalshiva
StartOrb: steelOrb square for Windows 7 by ~AP-GRAPHIK
Icons: isabi4 for Windows by ~barrymieny and Suave by ~thyraz
....................
Instructions:
1. Download Universal Theme Patcher . Run in it Administrative mode (right-click > "Run as administrator"),
UAC must be turned off.
After patch, restart the computer to take effect.
2. Extract contents (Win7-Blend.theme & Win7-Blend folder) into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
and double-click on Win7-Blend.theme
Then restart to make sure everything works properly.

Anyone knows why I can't apply this theme? I am running windows7 ultimate 32 bits. Went through every steps except explorerframe.dll It seems I dont have permission to modify it...

Seeing this page brings back the memories. Personally, and because I helped a little with this version, I prefer this one over 2.0. I mean, you do fantastic work, just this one always spoke out to me most. The only thing I ever reverted back to a previous version was the 'show desktop' button, to the one with only the side border.

I installed universal theme patcher and ran it for x86 (since I have a 32 bit operating system)
Patched all three files (UAC was turned OFF as instructed)-then Restarted
Extracted the specific files to Themes Folder in Windows.Ran Win-7 Blend Theme -A "Please Wait " message appears, but nothing happens and I still have my old theme .I even restarted , But No use.
WHY IS THE THEME NOT RUNNING ON MY LAPTOP?
