Background: Alyx is a marsh born caeli, a fact that not many others are aware off. Her mother was a poor woman who did anything she could to get by, even having sex with travellers to get an extra coin or two; Alyx was an unwanted child and thus was very neglected as a child. Her mother refused to care for her and would get angry if Alyx tried to cling to her and her mum's boyfriend... well, he wasn't very happy when Alyx was born since it was a visual proof of his girlfriend cheating on him so he took his anger on her. Due to this, Alyx was a very skittish kid who was scared of getting close to others.
                    However her life changed when she met a postal carrier who approached her out of curiousity. Although Alyx was very scared of adult caelis, the stranger's eyes were kind and their voice was soft when they talked to her. A few days later the postal carrier returned to Marsh but only to pick Alyx up, claiming that they were adopting her.
                    Adjusting to life in a different nest, in a completely new environment was difficult but, little by little, Alyx started trusting her adopted mother more and more. She started getting out of her shell, getting more daring than before.
                    In the present day, you would not recognise Alyx as that once scared little kid.

      Ø Alyx suffers from dermatillomania which is where the scars on her arms and back of the neck come from. She scratches herself when she's feeling overwhelmed or severely anxious- it doesn't happen as often as it used to when she was younger though;
          Ø Alyx has really bad eyesight- everything she sees is blurred out so she can only tell caelis apart by their scent and voice. She can also manoeuvre obstacles pretty well although she does often trip on lil rocks or twigs;
