Description Well, I drew this on honor of beating normal mode on Phantasy Star Online (yeah I know, that's easy, but I felt like doing something anyway). The character I beat it with is a HUcaseal based on Ume Boshi, my Ninja girl character, so I decided to draw Ume. This would be the first picture of her with her Kuro Tsume clan uniform, which she and Zargon both receive after reaching the elite level (like Kakashi's level in Naruto).

Go.
To.
College.

You can learn oh so much there. There are plenty of superb art courses and tutors in the three in this state alone (I'm leaning towards ASU, myself). It's better to hone your skills there, and take some other courses so you'll have something to fall back on, just in case.

If I'm going anywhere, it'll be ASU. I'll take life drawing and perhaps a few others, but most of the art stuff's prolly Fine art related. I'm not a Fine Artist, but a comic book artist! Perhaps there'll be some courses on making comics using da computer (which is what I am currently doing).

That's a mistake a lot of young artists make: Being so set on doing ONE kind of art, they disregard the importance of all the others. Take as many different art courses as you possibly can and try your best to keep an open mind. Sometimes, it seems like some of this stuff just doesn't apply to your style, but experimenting with many different elements will help you hone your style further.

Fine art sure seems "lolol boring", but you can learn more from it than you ever expected.

Exactly what I think. You need to have skills in not only one form of art, but many. Even though it may not seem like it, other forms of art can make you look at your own and improve it. And as you always say to me, you love improvement.
