Description This was made as part of an exchange between SARGY001 and myself; SARGY001 offered his talents to improve my working cover for Voice of the Virtual Phantom, so I offered to re-envision his planets for the One Planet at a Time project. This is the flat map used to create the texture for the forest planet ( [link] ), this time without clouds, allowing it to be displayed from any angle and for clouds to be repositioned to simulate changing weather. The presence of other climates is somewhat more obvious here; the vegetation grows sparser as you move towards the poles, resulting in some bogs and tundra, and there is a desert in Saharan latitudes on the western continent.

I like how you have multiple biomes. I don't suppose any of these landmasses have names yet?

I tried to give the feel that even within the forests there is some level of variation; tree-filled expanses take over flat as well as mountainous ground, and the latter may also find soils both smooth and rocky (the latter was particularly vital, given the nature of the ruins found here [link] ).

It's technically SARGY001's planet, and all I was told was that this was a forest planet; I do not believe I have authority to impinge further on his section of the universe. Any steps I take could well have great bearing on this world's history and future development of his story...
