It still has a way to go I think, but I have beenin the habit of putting out stuff like this, because sometimes you go too far or months later you realize it wasn't that bad, or something. Plus I have been toying withthis idea of printing my works like this at large sizes, and then using the subsequent print as a new canvas that I paint and tweak into a new variation.

you know, i dont think a lot of people put real work into developing their pieces, but you are the exception with endless tweaking and experimentation.
if your wallet can take it theres no reason why not to exploit your prints account, I have no doubt you'll turn out something clever or pleasing. You're just that sort of guy.
either way i wait with baitedbreath.

I really think its a jazz mentality; if you have a good basic structure (an idea or reference), there is no reason why you cannot derive an endless number of potential variations out of it without exhausting creative capacity. Now,you might exhaust your audience with it, but that is a different type of problem, and one that at one point very early in my DA days I had pondered starting a half dozen accounts and just parsing different styles and approaches that way, so people would not get tired of my endless tweakery.
Obviously, I failed

sweet I've been needing a vectoring program...
And as much as I like illustrator, I also hate it.

Inkscape is not as feature-rich as Illustrator, but it has its uses, and there are specific aspects of it I quite like. And its developing rapidly.

I actually really like the "simplicity" of it as it is now... Gorgeous.

gosh, this one is the best I have seen from you for a long time - and this says a lot, considering the usual quality of your work :)
I love the simplicity of it. The yellow and white, the thin lines, the narrowness of the canvas.
