*Nag* You do realize that Clockwerk's beak is the size of the average man, meaning that General Guar is probably a bit taller than Clockwerk's beak, right?

*Emerald* Clockwerk's also much taller. in comparison to Guar.

Zigwolf In reply to NagandEmerald [2013-08-04 04:45:55 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I know he's much taller than he is in this picture but the original one in the description that I based this off of also has Clockwerk much smaller than he already is. I think from a story stand point, before Clockwerk was destroyed he had a second body made just in case he was destroyed and this that second body and he's waiting for his chance to have his old, bigger body recreated.

NagandEmerald In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-04 04:48:44 +0000 UTC]

*Nag* Interesting theory. My theory is that Clockwerk's brain survived the destruction of the Hate-Chip, being the key component to Clockwerk himself. The Brain made its way back to Russia to begin creating a new, sleeker, and more humanoid body for himself, showing that he was, in fact, alive and well, and cannot be destroyed for good.

Zigwolf In reply to NagandEmerald [2013-08-04 15:35:08 +0000 UTC]

That does sound like a good idea, I mean the clockwork eye survived in Thieves in Time so it's not crazy to think another part survived. I'd like to think that Arpeggio left the Clockwerk brain out or downloaded it somewhere else so that he would have complete control of Clockwerks body without any alternate personality trying to fight for control.

I like the humanoid body, so much potential for an awesome drawing.

*Nag* Well, as proven with Neyla, Clockwerk is still capable of possessing someone's mind with the hatred and anger stored inside the frame. In the fight with Clock-La, Neyla started to actually gain what could be considered Clockwerk's personality and if she had been alive any longer, I'm sure Clockwerk would be remotely controlling her through the frame.

Zigwolf In reply to NagandEmerald [2013-08-05 01:27:27 +0000 UTC]

Well maybe. But I never got the sense that Clockwerk was gaining influence over her. I think a possibility is that the longer she was bonded to Clockwerk and the hate chip the more hateful and angry she became in order to become immortal.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NagandEmerald In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-05 01:47:53 +0000 UTC]

*Nag* Well, it's a very possible theory. The hate chip was nothing more than a conduit of undying hatred to the frame and as long as it existed, so did the body and the person controlling the frame would become nothing more than a drone for Clockwerk.

Zigwolf In reply to NagandEmerald [2013-08-05 02:26:43 +0000 UTC]

Yeah that makes perfect sense

NagandEmerald In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-05 02:32:44 +0000 UTC]

*Nag* Also, think about this. If he is capable of gathering the negative emotions of others and turning it into pure energy, what would happen if Superman fought him?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to NagandEmerald [2013-08-05 05:58:49 +0000 UTC]

Well I don't think Clockwerk could draw much power from Superman since he seemingly doesn't use negative emotions when he fights, at least not as much as a villain would.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NagandEmerald In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-05 06:04:08 +0000 UTC]

*Nag* Now think. Anger of someone or something killing someone would belong to Superman. If Clockwerk could draw that power, albeit, less than expected, then he would still be able to match Superman. Clockwerk could also gather the negative emotion from anyone and anything within a maximum of 10 square miles, minimum of 2 square miles.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to NagandEmerald [2013-08-05 22:26:26 +0000 UTC]

Yeah but you'd really have to piss off Superman for Clockwerk to draw power from him. The same with everyone in the area you would need massive amounts of anger for any change in strength. That's why Arpeggio's endgame for the Klaww gang was to have everyone else consume Rajan's spices and use the northern light energy Jean Bison collected to hypnotize everyone into an angry, crazed state.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NagandEmerald In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-05 22:29:25 +0000 UTC]

*Nag* Well, as I said, Clockwerk draws power from "any and all" negative emotions. Anger and Hatred being his strongest. With Superman, it wouldn't take that much negative energy to power Clockwerk to the point of being much stronger and faster in every way that Superman is.

Zigwolf In reply to NagandEmerald [2013-08-05 23:21:55 +0000 UTC]

I don't know, even when Clockwerk faced off with Sly in the first game, he was full of a lot of hate and lost to Sly using a Jetpack and guns. Superman breaks the sound barrier, can destroy large alien ships with his strength and heat vision. I don't think Clockwerk stands a chance even with a power boost.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NagandEmerald In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-05 23:43:35 +0000 UTC]

*Nag* Well, Clockwerk was probably testing Sly, as he does with the other Coopers before killing them. Technically, Clockwerk was taking notes on Sly's fighting techniques to be better prepared, so if he fought Superman, Clockwerk would first take notes on how Superman fights, and then kill him.

Yeah. Now I'm getting to thinking about other teamups like

Dr. Mandarin and Mz. Ruby

Caped Cod and Sir Raleigh

Bad Dog and Muggshot

Lady Malsteen and The Contessa

Birdbrain and Penelope

I got two more:

Crazy Horse and Don Octavio

Comrade Crocovsky and Rajan

Don't know about the CH and DO teamup because I can't remember what Crazy Horse was like in the show.

That second team up is perfect! Both of them rose up from nothing to become powerful villains with command and authority

TUFFAgentShepherd In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-04 09:53:15 +0000 UTC]

Well, here's what a fan thinks Crazy Horse is like: fav.me/d3t02aj

But at least you LOVE the second team-up. Also, they're both from Asia (Crocovsky is Russian, and Rajan is Indian).

And, for my last team-up...

I can't believe the words are comin' outta my mouth...

Jack Rabbit and Cyrille le Paradox.

Well, here are some more:

Kung-Pow Chicken and General Tsao

Mad Cow and Jean Bison

Lizzy McDinga and Toothpick

Leather Teddy and the Grizz

Great White and Captain LeFwee

Iggy Spikes and El Jefe

Scentessa le Stripe and Miss Decibel

Zigwolf In reply to TUFFAgentShepherd [2013-08-01 17:55:20 +0000 UTC]

Wow those are some good ones, though I think Toothpick and Captain LeFwee are dead but if there's some great and funny interactions between them with their teammates then I could ignore continuity and bring them back.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TUFFAgentShepherd In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-01 18:05:13 +0000 UTC]

I'm sure there will.

Well, Toothpick was stranded in the Old West, but I'm sure he stowed away on Doc Brown's Jules Verne train at the end of "Back to the Future 3," and came back to the present.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to TUFFAgentShepherd [2013-08-01 20:35:25 +0000 UTC]

Yeah but if I remember right in the credits Toothpick was sentenced to working on a railroad with other prisoners and became deaf from the train horns and didn't hear a train coming up behind him.

But I guess that's what certain time travel stories are for. Going back to the past and changing something.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TUFFAgentShepherd In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-01 20:39:45 +0000 UTC]

Maybe before he was run over, he saw Doc's train on the railroad, and stowed away when Doc, Clara, Jules, and Vern went back to 1985 Hill Valley.

Zigwolf In reply to TUFFAgentShepherd [2013-08-01 20:41:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah that's a good idea

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TUFFAgentShepherd In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-01 20:45:47 +0000 UTC]

Yeah.

In fact, I've got team-ups for the good guys, too. ^^

Kitty and Sly (obviously)

Jake and Carmelita

Keswick and Bentley

Elvis and Murray

Dudley and Dimitri

Niles and the Guru

Kimiko and Panda King

Allison and Penelope (the way I see it, Penelope might regret betraying the Cooper gang, and join them again in Sly 5)

Since that happens, Birdbrain's new team-up will be with Dr. M.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to TUFFAgentShepherd [2013-08-02 01:57:23 +0000 UTC]

I like all of those, they are all perfect fits

Though I do have to say I like Penelope better as a villain.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TUFFAgentShepherd In reply to Zigwolf [2013-08-02 09:27:20 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, thanks. And, I got one more...

Jessica Spotrunner and Constable Neyla

I know, but I think Penelope seems better suited as a hero, but that's just me.
