I did a massive reworking of this Guardian of the Galaxy. I read up on her history and it was a clusterf$%k of confusing elements. So I altered it for a better understood backstory.Mantis comes from a planet light years away from Earth. Her people are the Dictyopterrans, a praying mantis like race of aliens that work closely with the Kree in the galaxy. Some experimentation has been rumored but no solid evidence has been brought forth. Mantis is a prime result of this experimentation and as a child she developed Chlorokinetic abilities and with her plants she can connect to others with Telepathic Empathy.
In what would be considered her 20s (human age would be 346) Mantis came into contact with The Celestials, the oldest living beings the universe, and they announced that they had chosen her to become the a Celestial Maddon-Nya, a being who would bring about change across the entire universe, may it be good or bad. This made her the target of everyone looking to exploit her power for their own nefarious purposes. So Mantis left her planet and went on the run.
Mantis eventually crossed paths with the Guardians who at first captured her to collect a bounty under a false crime but they later learned the truth and sought to keep her from being used by evil forces like the Skrulls or Thanos. After a lengthy space battle, it looked like Mantis perished in a ship explosion but she in reality, she escaped unnoticed in an escape pod to a nearby planet and would stay there until her Celestial Powers matured to their fullest extent and would not allow anyone to use them but her.
Years after this, when the most of the Guardians disappeared, Mantis was found by Shocket and Groot to form a new team and find out what happened to the old one.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no! I'm saying that Drax is like Wolverine but the difference is this, Drax wants to get revenge on Thanos while Wolverine wants to find his memories.

Well let's take a look at this.
One is a short, fuzzy, canadian with metal claws for slicing people up. Has no memories of his life before being turned into a weapon and is taken in by a team that teaches him to fight for a world that hates and fears people like him.
One is a hairless grey humanoid alien who lost his family to an intergalactic tyrant and is deadset on revenge until he teams up with loners like him to defend the galaxy from threats too big for anyone else to tackle.
All I see are two men who are on teams and kill alot of people.

Yeah, Mandarin sucked big time. Zemo wasn't terrible but all the stuff he was known for, costume and powers, were gone for the sake of realism.

It just seems so weird of a faceoff of The Mandarin with 10 alien tech rings that do many things against Shang-Chi who just does martial arts.

What is the origin of Star Lord in MLU? Before the film was made, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Lord was different, but after the success of the movie it was decided to make Peter Quell in the comics to his counterpart in the MCU not only appearance, but also personality and origin and this ultimately caused a small mess and we do not know what is what.

How do you rate The Flash in Justice League? I think he's terrible. The actor looks like someone who can be Kid Flash, not Flash, his costume is horrible, it looks like he was made of scrap metal. The idea of the costume is good, but the costume is terrible, the sense of humor irritates, irritates and offends viewers.

Personally I've always like Dick and Barbera.
I like Ezra Miller as the Flash, but I think his characterization could of been better. He's an unready hero, he never fought or saved people, he just pushed criminals and ran. By the end of the movie, he should gained more confidence and been more sure of himself. I like his costume, mostly because it's metallic and should hold up better than his CW leather suit and his usual skin tight comic suit. It looks half finished, so I hope that in his solo movie, he gets an upgraded version.
