Description
A Toonman villain created bySimon Marsden started out as University Radio DJ that the student body loved but the faculty were worried about because of some of the subjects of his discussions. When his show started to get more political, he caused a riot at the university with his words and was immediately fired. Being unable to find work because of his name being in the news, Simon was forced to be a janitor at a sound tech laboratory. After seeing an experimental device that produces sound waves that were used to control test subjects, Simon found the key to his revenge. He stole the device and got an old engineering buddy from his DJ days to help him rework it into a helmet, wrist devices, and a belt to help amplify the sound's reach, plus it's programmed to work only for him and when he says "Simon Says". With the power to control everyone around him, Simon is going to be having some fun.

I love this redesign. Don't get me wrong, there isn't anything terrible about the original. I just think most of the time, your designs become the better one because you come up with awesome details and ideas to re invent them.

That's exactly how I see it. With the original, there are limits to how the design can look, but when I draw them, I look at what I can draw or alter to make them look so awesome.

Yea, and I love that! I am still submitting some but my main focus are Overcharge and Shade. I still have a few more to submit including some villains I still need to draw, but yea I really would appreciate it if you could do Overcharge and Shade

I just checked them out and they're pretty good. I can immediately see how they'll look in my style and they'll look awesome. That's a good sign when I know right from looking at them, how good they'll turn out.

I did get a lot of inspiration for his costume from the New 52 Vibe for this as well as Ant-Man's helmet from Avengers EMH.
