Description
A commission forVile the Devil is a sinister and menacing devil from a sinister place called The Under Zone. He is unlike other villains that Sonic has fought; he has no desire to conquer the world but to spread dread and misery throughout the world. Vile has incredible powers of evil. His most dangerous ability is called Evil Trigger, which allows him to inflict pain and suffering onto his victims, making them helpless and incapable to fight back. His goal is to find the Evil Amethyst, a gemstone capable to enhance evilness tenfold. With its powers, Vile uses it to transform innocent animal critters and Sonic's friends into sinister monsters. The more evil it creates, the stronger Vile will become, until he transforms into his Wicked Vile form.

Sonic won't have an angelic form, but he will have a new angel friend, I just need to think of a good design for the character.

If a new game with your character was made, there would need Biblical references in that.

Unfortunately no, no Biblical references.
I would call it Sonic Apocalypse.
Dr. Eggman was very upset after his many defeats from Sonic the Hedgehog that he decided to go Doom-style (in the video game series, the Union Aerospace Corporation attempted to draw energy from Hell, in order to solve an energy crisis on Earth). Eggman built a portal to the Under Zone in order to obtain a supernatural force to destroy Sonic and rule the world. However, due to his carelessness and to his very horror, it frees the dreaded Vile the Devil. Vile the Devil traps Dr. Eggman into the Under Zone and starts his goal to bring the Apocalypse to Sonic's World.

An angelic form sounds cool. Sonic could be sporting winged shoes (ala Hermes) and halo rings on different parts of his body.

Give him not only Hermes’ shoes, but also wings to fly as well.
