All bow to the awesome artificial being that is Metallix!This guy has to be the best badnik EVER. Lightning quick and hard as nails, with an abundance of style to boot. I refer to him as 'Metallix' as that is his name in the Fleetway/STC universe that I grew up with. This is the first picture i've drawn of him since 1994 and I'm pleased with the result. I went for the two-tone lighting technique as I felt it added an element of drama into the picture too.
So, here he is, The Sonic Terminator - to quote his debut appearance in STC. Ivo's finest creation in my humble opinion.

You know, it could be possible that Metal Sonic (or Metallix) was based on the terminator from The Terminator movie series since it has the same physiognomy of his target.

Metal Sonic! One of the coolest deigns ever, and from the greatest Sonic game ever made - Sonic CD, with the best game soundtrack of all time (providing you play the Eurpoean/Japanese version with the original music, and not the lacklustre US re-done soundtrack).

I agree completely about the original version of Sonic CD, though few others seem to share my opinion... why they felt they needed to waste time and effort re-recording in-game music is beyond me.
Besides, early 90s J-pop and Techno is far more appropriate to the feel and pace of such a colourful, fast-moving game - why do people always seem to think that generic rock music works better with Sonic?

metallix used to give me nightmares when i first read a comic with those in..oo;; its still scary looking, even now.
