OMFG THIS IS LIKE MY MOST FAVORITE ROBOT EVER, WHERE DID YOU GET THE REFERENCE? DID YOU SAW THE MOVIE LOOKING FOR EVERY SINGLE DETAIL OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?

zoomzoom In reply to Da-TeRMi [2006-10-19 05:49:38 +0000 UTC]
that is exactly what I did... movie and some images here and there are the only references I had... that's why it took almost two months to make it... I watched some scenes at least 20-30 times... but hey. If itβs ever rigged it will work exactly like the one in the movie.
I made Ed209 as well... will give the same 360 render of it pretty soon...

Agree with michaeldaniels above, some video (like static or snow and some words appearing like, TIME TO KICK SOME A** and CHEW SOME GUM, but I'm all outta gum)
I like it when just when u think it's all blues and grays, the camera moves in to show spashes of color. This piece is incredible!

Any chance to a link to a downloadable file for this one? WOuld like to see the whole thing, but think ould cripple my comuter, lol (bloody thing's not even old at 13months).
Anyway, its fave whatever.

Oh, Okay. Yeah the 'Toon' shader is in max, but you can't get it too look as good as you got it to look there. The 'Toon' shader isn't as clean. I'll have to mess around with that, it looks awesome!

Yeah, Each program's got it's ups and downs. That's why i'm trying to learn maya as good as I am in Max. It would be nice to switch back and forth with no problem.
