...ha ha, get it?Anyway. This is part of a Four Swords cosplay I'm doing with some friends: Me as Green, ~NearAsAGirl as Red, Katrina(who doesn't have a dA) as Blue, and ~NervousDreamer as Purple. It'll be debuting at Ohayocon this weekend. HOPEFULLY ~NervousDreamer will finish the swords by then...
This was made out of wood with the help of a friend. He cut out the shields and triangles from a template I made and directions I gave him, and I did the rest, including attatch the handholds(for the most part), sanding(LOTS and lots of sanding), and glue on the triangles with super glue.
The paint is acrylic(after putting primer on first of course) and then it was sprayed with varnish.They're pretty comfortable and easy to hold. They're medium weight, I guess we'll see how heavy they really are after lugging them around Ohayocon...
