Have used this effect many times in many different ways! Also generally stick to your brush settings for all the heavy smudge work I do! Wonderful tutorial--thank you so much!!!

Lol well that's not a subject of a tutorial for disintegration trick . Anyway it's just some adjustments with curves and photofilters.

A really nice combination of techniques for a similar results, this tutorial really shows one of the strong advantage of photoshop : there are many ways to achieve a similar result
