My application for the Ultimate Battle Frontier . Done entirely in Photoshop with a mouse. This took very long, two weeks long, because my free time was scarce. I can't recall how many hours. :\ Gallade was surpringly fun to do, almost as fun as Pikachu. x3

This seems like the only situation where I can form my favorite pokemon team. In the actual pokemon game, TCG, or in competative battling, the pokemon you like are most likely not the best pokemon to have.
I've looked through many entries, and I'd say most trainers can be divided up into team types : Specialists, Cool Trainer, Cute Trainer, "Lol4srs?" Trainer, or a combination. I'm totally in the cool trainer catergory.

Well, here's the character info! This is my first time doing anything like this, so please bare with it, ^^'.

Trainer name: Ian
Age: 18
Hair colour: Brown
Eye colour: Cyan/Blue
Body type: Healthy. Being a pokemon trainer can keep you in shape.
Fashion: Casual. He likes to wear his red and blue pop-up collar jacket mostly everyday. He breezes through pants though, because they get dirty quickly from the crazy adventures. One day he could be wearing denim jeans, and the next day kakie shorts.

On the rare occasion Ian enters a contest rather than a pokemon battle, he'll sport a grey vest with a pokeball insignia, on top of a dark blue dress shirt and with dark grey suit pants.

In cold areas, such as Snowpoint city, he'll don a cloud pattern hoodie, a red scarf, and wool pants. He, among countless others, hates the cold, but keeps his trap shut and deals. Yes sir, you'll "never" hear him bickering about the weather, never... (BTW, as I write this it is snowing... -.-)

Story: Ian was born in Saffron city about the same time Team Rocket took over Silph Co. and all of Saffron. After the defeat of Team Rocket, his parents decided to move to less industrialized area, and thus Ian was raised in Vermillion. The seaport of Kanto and a town with a Pokémon gym, Vermillion attracted flocks of various Pokémon trainers, breeders, and coordinators from all regions. Since a young age Ian was exposed to trainers and Pokémon of every sort, and quickly aspired to be a Pokémon trainer himself.

Pikachu
Around the age of 10 Ian sought counsel from the local gym leader, Lt. Surge, on where to start in order to become a Pokémon trainer. Lt. Surge, wanting to promote the use of electric type Pokémon, lent a Diglett he caught in the Diglett tunnel to Ian in order for him to capture an electric type Pokémon. Ian was also bound to keep talk about the Diglett "hush hush".

Ian decided to check to the east, in the nearby fields where the natural ecosystem often fluctuated, because of the release of foreign Pokémon from traveling trainers. As luck would have it, he stumbled across a Pikachu busy attempting to swallow an apple whole. Ian caught the creature off guard and easily captured his first Pokémon with Diglett's help. Pikachu became close with Ian, because of their shared love of apples. However, Pikachu was a sort of a glutton and became a challenge to handle if she hadn't eaten an apple recently.

Milotic
Lv 75
Nickname: Mikura
Nature: Careful
Item: Wise Glasses
Ability: Marvel Scale
Mikora is the powerhouse of this team, yet often acts as a mother towards her trainer and the other pokemon. When she senses her family is in danger, Milotic will use its full strength in order to protect them. Unfortunately, she's a bit too protective.

Gallade
Lv 70
Nickname: Mukoru
Nature: Serious
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Steadfast
Mukoru is as loyal and trusting a pokemon you can find, despite being overall distant to others. He abides by the rules of chivalry to such an extent, than he won't attack if in a double battle the opponent only has one pokemon left and you still have two Pokemon out.

Nickname: Soru
Nature: Calm
Item: Razor Fang
Ability: Super Luck
Soru likes to reserved most of the time. He will loosen up whenever there are physic pokemon around, or whenever the weather is perfect. He's also a bit of a perv.

Scizor

Nickname: Slade
Nature: Jolly
Item: Quick Claw
Ability: Technician
Slade loves flowers and fields, but usually ends up desecrating the entire place from swinging his arms around too much. Slade has a rivalry going on with Mukoru to see who can cut the best.

Pikachu

Nickname: Pikun
Nature: Lax
Item: Light Ball
Ability: Static
Pikun is Ian's first pokemon. Normally, that would mean he would be one of the strongest. However, Pikun refuses to train without first eating many apples, a habit which Ian wishes to end. Pikun and Ian like to wear blue googles occasionally.

Glaceon
Lv 50
Nickname: Celesta
Nature: Modest
Item: NeverMeltIce
Ability: Snow Cloak
Celesta's personality changed after the evolution into a Glaceon, and now she has some trouble controlling her emotions. Most of the time, she behaves politely, but if something bothered her for a long time , she'll explode at the closest thing nearby, which is usually Ian.
