Description
The M3 Stuart, formally Light Tank M3, was an American light tank of World War II and supplied to British and Commonwealth forces under lend-lease prior to the entry of the U.S. into the war—and used thereafter by U.S. and Allied forces until the end of the war.The name General Stuart or Stuart given by the British comes from the American Civil War Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart and was used for both the M3 and the derivative M5 Light Tank. In British service, it also had the unofficial nickname of Honey after a tank driver remarked "She's a honey". To the United States Army, the tanks were officially known only as "Light Tank M3" and "Light Tank M5".
The M3 Stuarts were the first American-manned (U.S.) tanks in World War II to engage the enemy in tank versus tank combat. With its 37mm M6 gun in M44 mount, four .30cal M1919A4 MG’s and as little as .625” or armor on its middle front it did not do well in tank to tank combat.

Thank you.
I have loved the little Stuart tank ever since I read the G.I. Combat Comics when I was a kid.
The Haunted Tank was just a cool idea for the time.
You can find other views of it and my other tanks here : 12jack12.deviantart.com/galler…

AH yes! detailed work, notice I build 1:35 scale and not those little 1:72 scale models. My fingers are to big and they are to small.

for me the scale didn't matter...disaster after disaster..you'd think a model of a submarine'd be easy...

You know I could see where a sub model could be a pain in the ass!
You have that big long hull in at least 2 pieces to glue together,
so glue finger prints all over it, seams that don't line up, etc etc.
