Description
Last post- Aug 3, 2016Aww, man....sorry. ;A;
...no wonder why I feel rusty with digital art XD And that last piece wasn't even digital!
This was something I've had on tap for a while. I completed it for my portfolio back in October, maybe late September. It was a color study to show my understanding of color usage and that I can get away from a very typical blue-yellow-orange combination that I've love using these past few months. :') Although now that I'm looking at it, they all look kind of like dull, muted palettes, although that might just be my laptop screen being a dum dum again.
I wanted to wait until portfolio craziness was over, and now is the best of any time to post it.
I will still be slow in general...I have 12 pieces to complete in 4 months for AP art (less than that, thank you February for being a short month). That will be my main focus until May. I don't think I'll have time for anything else online here. But hey, maybe I'll have something to show you by the end of it.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this for now! ^^
Time- 1-2 hrs for each, so about 6-8 total
Program- Photoshop CC

Ahh, thank you!
Rain is hard. ;w; Zoom blur (I think) makes it a little bit better, but it still takes a bit of finagling. T-T

So many kitkits~ ;v;
I think I like the middle two most in terms of art, one for its soft colours and the other for the contrasting use of blues~ They stand out the most I think.
Good luck with all of your arting, that sounds like a lot to get done in that much time :'D

Those were some of my favorites too. ^^ I'm not a fan of the last one...I think if I added more contrast and a pop of interesting color, it might have made it a little better.
Thank you! Yeah, hopefully it will get done in time! X'D Most of the storyboarding is done...it was surprisingly quite hard to fit everything on to 12 images. :')

Why do you taunt me with food
Yeah, the last piece feels fairly dulled compared to the others. Maybe lineart could help with bringing things out too, but I think the colours would be more important.
Smooshing things together isn't too fun :'D
