Description
This was one of the college pieces I particularly wanted to share here. I'll consider my few other pieces. But definitely one of the more intense digital illustrations I've created. The process was cool! (and frustrating) We started with an abstract painting and developed a narrative from that, as you can see on my ArtStation .Program- Photoshop CC
Time- So long... TwT 8-10 hours at least for the painting itself.

Oooooooh this is incredible, I love this piece, I knew that watching your college works would be awesome.
I like how artistic the drawing looks with the style that you used, it looks like a real painting, and the color palette is amazing. That fish looks massive, and you nailed the scared/shocked reaction in the person, with that pose and the release of the air. Spectacular way to iluminate the scene, and I love every single detail that this artwork has.

It was very tricky to make the water read! My professor was first seeing it as some sort of hill with a fence and a floating guy, completely missing the fish.

I can imagine, but yeah, the bubbles and the ilumination help a lot to tell where the scene is happening.

The human looks really amazing and so does the huge fish! Also I love the way you did the water as well! ^^
This makes me think of a dark situation where the monster fish destroyed the boat and now the human will get eaten.
