Pencil Drawing of Preston Jones (Commission)On acid free mat board 15” x 24”
I don’t often do commissions but this one is an exception. It was a great drawing to work on; Preston has a very intriguing face, a serious, deep, gaze… a thinker and artist, but with more then a hint of kindness.

seeing all the detail you put in his sweater and herring bone. . . it just drives me nuts. i can relate thought. i've done a couple of pics w/ an insane amount of detail . . . i'd say you were crazy for doing it, but i understand why. when you draw a picture, you capture all these little details and nuances that would otherwise go unnoticed if they were in photography. you're have such an amazing eye for detail.

Oh, I've been following this for quite a while. He looks Incredible! I love the cracks in his skin... perhaps they're scars on his chin. The shadow added by the glasses is beautiful. I'm not sure about the necklace... it looks almost unfinished or as if it's trying to reflect light but it isnt all that reflective...LoL, thats the only way I can describe it...Maybe it needs a polish? LoL. Also, the left center of the sweater looks lightly blurred or smeared... Incredible none the less. The expression is one of greeat knowledge for sure... I would love to meet all the people in your pictures. You portray them in such a way that makes their personality show through in the most incredible way. I'm jealous of the people who can watch u work in those cafe's around your town... It must be mindblowing to have such an incredible artist just sitting in front of them... I can't stop staring at this. It's gorgeous and a favorite for sure. Your work is very inspiring! I cant wait to see the next piece... Will you be submiting the tree to DA? I haven't checked your website to see if that's updated(my next stop for sure), but I can't wait to see it. Thanx for posting this, it's gorgeous! Keep up this incredible stuff I'm dieing to see more!

Judging by your comment, I think it's safe to assume you're not familiar with Nimra's work.
This is no fake. In the past, he's posted in-progress works. Not of this one in particular, but of other drawings he's done. His talent is real. This is no fake.
The camera information only means that he took a picture with a digital camera in order to get it on the net. Probably because it was too large to scan.

camera information appears when ever a picture is taken with a digital camera or the camera info is entered into the file (not sure how to do that, but i know you can). i assume this picture was taken with a digital camera, meaning they took a picture of the drawing. so the camera info is automatically shown here. i assure you, the drawing is real.
