“For God and Country”Pencil on Acid Free Illustration Board
22” x 30”
This work is part of an on going series called “Neo-Fossil. Inspired by fossils, their shape, their texture and history.
In this work, I am reacting to man’s continuing preoccupation at killing and dying for God and Country. I do this by representing a synthesis of religious, social and anatomical images. I try to bear witness to that moment when the next tenant of this planet finds proof of our existence, in the form of fossils. This is not a fatalistic view, but a deep respect for the powers of nature (e.g. God) to reclaim and recreate.

great detail and stuff as in all your works i could never draw something like this. but to me it does not look too beautiful i have to admit. maybe its just that i dont understand its meaning or something... well it just doesnt appeal to me as much as your usual stuff.

The only "problem" I have with you nimra is that you don't offer prints of your work. Do you sell the peices as single works, or is it the big versions for your eyes only?

wow unsurprizing an unsurpassabil devaintion by are own salvador dali of DA. its beautifly in your style, releftcions of your work "9/11" such care and attention to detail is mindbowling and an an example of the endless possabilty you can acheve with a mear pencil. All captured with tenderness, victory resented by the upright and strong horns. decadence and distruction to the metaphorical and the physical face of thoses who are inflicted.
