I wanted to draw this picture because i liked it for many reasons.
Tried to improve my camera setup and used bristol board for the first time. Very experimental graphite drawing, applied techniques from my experience with airbrush, painting with oil colours (drybrush) and pencils.
reference used: (google ->"smallest cat")
And thanks to many great artists on DA who inspired me to improve my skills and who shared their techniques with me!

I found that picture on the internet andΒ I liked it very much and wanted to draw it. I think the original photo may be a photo manipulation but I'm not sure.

may you explain the technique to make the white whiskers and white eyebrow lashes like that..I still confused

I use a special eraser, it's like a mechanical pencil with an eraser lead. You can make very thin white lines with it. Here is a [link]

It's really a great tool and it works best on bristol board, thats a special paper for drawing with a very smooth and robust surface

I like the more defined contrast of the fur against the softer look of the hand and skin, and the kitten's eyes. The whiskers are nicely defined against the dark fur, too. I like this a lot.
