Description Ok the entire title is "Exhibition Design: Reformers of Pune", couldn't fit it into the title box. dA doesn't have an appropriate section to put this into, so I hope this one will do.

Team:

- Abhay Singh (me)

- Gursimranjeet Gill (Sherry)

- Hafsah Parkar

- Abha Kate

- Devyani Watwe

This was a 4 week project on exhibition design that we had in college. The theme was, "Pune: The Treasure of India" and the subject was "Reformers of Pune". Me and my team have tried to include reformers in all walks of life such as music, industry, science, philosophy, arts, along with social reformers. The design and architecture have been inspired by the Wadas (traditional homes) of Pune and the whole idea was to make the exhibition look like a contemporary Wada.

Modelled in Google Sketchup 7 and rendered with VRay. All modelling, texturing etc etc 3D stuff has been done by me... This is the first time I'm using 3D software

Please ask if you would like to know anything else about this project.

All comments, critiques and s are appreciated!

Very nice! I always wanted to try getting into 3D software--especially since I play ArmA 2 and would like to design buildings for my own maps--but it always scares me away to try, lol. Looks all rather too complicated for me.

You did a very good job on this. Hope to see more in the future!

Thanks a lot! If you don't want anything too fancy or complicated, do try Google Sketchup, it's very easy to learn and use.

Nope, we have been taught absolutely nothing about architecture... we were just told to design an exhibition without any prior experience hehe Had to figure out everything ourselves with the help of Product Design students.
