Description
Adjusting his size to avoid giving his foes such a easy target, Darkseid finds his foes remarkably durable, and as he battled the pair he found their chatter irritating as though they were not taking him seriously. He refocused on first hammering the tenacious Kryptonian female into the ground, allowing the Lord of Apokalips to turn his attention to the curiously powerful silver skinned being, uncertain to what the creature actually was.Hoisting the silver man closer the being began to burn with considerable heat and energy, to Darkseid this was a pitiful last ditch attempt, he had experienced many before and found this occasion just as trying.
He had not been expecting that Captain Atom would use his abilities to bring Powergirl back into the fight stronger than ever after a burst of intense solar energy. The fight was far from over...
( I still think these two could take on Darkseid, although i guess only a person with an 'S' on their chest would suffice )
( In the old DC Universe Captain Atom and Powergirl were generally on a first name basis, which is why she is calling him 'Nate' rather than Captain Atom in this picture )
The first picture.

It's the New 52. Of course it is. This new Darksied looks like a Thanos ripoff, even though it's the other way around. And they put Supes and Wondy together. The only good things are a bitchin' Thomas Wayne Batman that uses guns, and a black Superman (which is strangely awesome).

Darkseid's weakness has always been his over confidence in his power! I love the clever solutions to the problems, and it catchy dialogue! **single tear in the eye* This is what I knew comic books to be and I really missed it. You know now that you are saying that (commenting on your comments) I always wondered how or why Powergirl was so much "weaker" then Superman when in her own Universe she was doing his job. Why isn't she as strong as Zod or any other Krpytionan? I think they just WANT Superman to be Goku and save everyone but seriously Clark is just like anyone else on his planet XDΒ

I think he stands a good chance against Darkseid alone, but having help from Powergirl is definitely a good thing.
Thanks

Depends on the writer, although she was generally considered as strong as Captain Atom and Captain Atom was generally as strong as Superman.
