Captain Atom approaches Superman, could it be about property damage Supermans last fight caused ?, not letting him in the league ?, not looking after Powergirls cat ? ( anything really ) ultimately during their discussion Captain Atom is irritated by Supermans attitude...I think one of the problems i have with the new animated Movie 'Justice League War' is with the characterisation of Superman, he came across as just a little bit smug and uncaring about punching people through buildings. Maybe it's just me but this version doesn't strike me as the exemplar that the other heroes of DC are meant to aspire to, more a guy to be worried about due to his power levels and jerk like behavior.
It's not something that suits the modern Superman, not even for his early days of wearing a cape. On the upside it really shows how the recent live action version of Superman really nailed his personality, being friendlier, more amiable, and having a reassuring presence with others when in costume even if he is almost clueless about the situation.Β
Anyhow i was aiming for a style similar to the animated movie.

JL War is a shallow adaptation of a shallow origin story. If you want to know how Supes should be in the 52, read Action Comics.

Wonder Woman's not much better in WAR than Superman is.Β
Granted, the New 52 ORIGIN story that War is based on was pretty bad so I wasn't surprised to find it being equally bad.Β

Unfortunately, it didn't. Hopefully this won't be the basis for the proposed Justice League live action film - if it ever gets made (not that I have high hopes for it or the upcoming Super-Bat-whatever film).Β
