Description
Here's four of the design sheets I did for Sideshow, to help the sculpting process along. Just sketches from my sketchbook, nothing fancy. The first one, in the upper left, was done at the Sideshow offices/studios, during a brainstorming session for a bumch of ideas. I produced the rest over the next few months as sculptor Tim Miller went about making three-dimensional fabulosity appear.
I like the doodle of the size comparison between Jennifer Walters and her alter-ego, done mainly to show Tim what I was thinking of when I designed She-Hulks torn street clothes. I think some people draw the Hulk or She-Hulk in torn clothes that look like there's enough fabric to actually cover them, if the outfit wasn't in tatters. I was trying to illustrate to Tim that when Jen tranforms, she goes from something like 5'4" to 6'7". A small women's suit jacket would probably look like a childrens's vest on a gal as big as She-Hulk.
We had some slightly racier rips, tears, and bulges going on, originally. Marvel asked us to tone it down a tad. PRE-DISNEY Marvel.
Truly, we live in an age of wonders.

me gusta el primer cuadro con la ropa interior negra y el de abajo/izquierda con su identidad humana

Superb work with the layouts and designs here. You surely make She-Hulk look beautiful without making her look monstrous. I love the facial expression!

I LUV your She-Hulk stuff.
Suggestion: Shulkie and Big Barda captured by... uh... some puny villain. (A Marvel/DC cross-over.) Anyhoo... they'd be bound hand and foot (and elbow, knee, neck, etc.) with "mutant cuffs" ('cause how else would you subdue them?), sitting side-by-side while the villian gloats, and exchanging a look that says...
"You wanna go first?"
"No, be my guest."
"There won't be much left, afterwards."
"I'll smash the next one." Just a suggestion.
GOOD JOB!!

Nice concepts Adam! Now with Boss Disney, I wonder how things are going to change and how drastic! Unless they decide to swing them to Buena Vista so they can retain the edge. If they don't, I think there are going to be some really dramatic changes coming!

She should have bigger legs. Her arms have gotten really muscular, but her legs haven't.

That's a judgment call.
I find that if you make all her muscles proportionately larger, she looks like a man, and she doesn't look 6'7". The long athletic legs, as oppossed to large muscular legs, help her keep a feminine aesthetic while being tall & Hulky.

Great point. I'm drawing a character right now that has a lot more tone and definition than a sultry female, and lengthening her silhouette is helping to keep the sexy in.

I've discovered a simple algorithm for muscular and/or toned females that helps me in my work, personally:
If drawing big muscles, I DON'T draw vascularity or striations. I try to keep the big muscles soft and sensuous, much like breasts.
If I want to draw a ripped yet-sexy-babe, I keep the muscles small, long, and lean; like a dancer.

Cool stuff, even the clothing is interesting, hehe. But you made me somewhat curious:
' We had some slightly racier rips, tears, and bulges going on, originally. Marvel asked us to tone it down a tad. PRE-DISNEY Marvel.'
Can we see those sketches?

You're seeing them! If you compare these drawings to the final statue, you can see what got covered up!
