Description
Here's a Vampirella piece I did, so that I could have some original art to sell at San Diego.I did Vampirella covers for Harris Comics, back in the 1990s. The reason why there are none in my gallery is because I don't think I ever did the character justice.

Love the snappy catchphrase. And gotta say I love this depicture of Vampirella...some artist tend to thin her waist or backarch her back in an almost manga way wich makes it creepy. You've given her realistic curves and voluptios she is. Love the bat and vamp element. One of my fave version or take at her.

it's hard to make Vampirella any justice after so many great artists had their shot at drawing her... but you shouldn't beat yourself up, I think you managed to stay along those great artists

I like the whole Vampire cliche pieces like the bats and the Dracula collar, then you have this half naked voluptious woman as the focal-point. Very neatly done.

Well, Adam, I never saw the ones in the 90s, but if they were anything like this, they must have been great. I have a feeling that you, like many of us, are your own worst critic. Splendid work.

Oh, believe it! You do the character justice! Your Vampirella is awesome! I hope that Forrest Ackerman got to appreciate your work. I think that Vampi's creator would have loved your style!

I would love to see you do a fully finished Vampi Artwork, something where you really get to do the character justice. She's certainly a good subject for you I think.

You don't think you ever did the character justice?! Man if it weren't for you I probably wouldn't have heard of her. ha ha.
Everything I like about an AH pic here. Word ballons, details (like creepy tree faces, bats), curvy hair tendrils, and of course boobs.

I think this piece holds the character's essence perfectly. They tend to draw Vampi ...more aggressive. I don't think she'd be so all the time. Plus, the way you do the suit makes it look actually wearable (in fantastic proportion, ahem), unlike others who tend to use dental floss.
Don't be so hard on yourself. Let's see some more! I prefer yours!

YOu certainly did in this pic. Wonderful as always. My last couple of commissions I started just using the marker and delineated lines and shapes using shades. I didn't put any ink to the face at all. I use you as my inspiration to improve my marker work. You're technique is flawless.
