Someone just sent me a note asking "WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW!"Well, when someone 'asks' you a question in ALL CAPS and with an exclamation mark instead of a question mark, what can you do except take a screen capture of your desktop while you are working.
If you are the person who sent me said imperative request... here you go.
Hit Caps Lock off, and try some de-caf.

Would you ever consider posting a vid of a WIP? I've seen a number of recordings of the progression of the line art but would you do the same with your PS coloring process?

Thanks a lot for posting this, Some friends and me will have some nice chats about it, since we wondered and made lots of guessings in the past about your photoshop system. Is great to see that many ideas were right, but also that we had no idea on many others.
The use of mouse, the selections+fill, the amount of layers and channels, and the brushes.
Too bad that the riddle of steel is in the hand that weilds it, and no matter how much info we gather, the skills remain in your brain.

I don't know that I am a "big gun"; but while Adam is busy walking softly, I can definitely be a big stick.
And its true; we don't trade much. I'm of the opinion that a professional deserves to be paid for their hard work, and don't want to insult people by offering to trade instead of pay. I'd pay an accountant to do my taxes, and a chef for making me dinner at a restaurant. I'll pay an artist to do a drawing or painting as well.
And secret lists can also be a Bad thing. If you recall, Santa has two lists. I follow his model.

Every's wowed by the mouse usage issue... I'm no using the mouse like a stylus; I'm not drawing or painting with it. I just make little selections and hit Fill. I also have a few custom brushes, but I use them to stamp, not to stroke. It's akin to jabbing the paintbrush as opposed to brush it across the canvas. Really, it's quite easy with a mouse.
