Finally finished! Falen in the black heart of Marcale, with the old entrance of Widdenwael nearby. Painting this maxed my patience to the extreme. Over a month of planning, dozens of references used, and my arm hurt from my wrist to my elbow by the time I was finished. Now this is truly stunning. Marvelous work. Only one comment, I think the trail may be a bit light considering the heavy growth of the forest but that is just an observation and in now way a critique

The depth of this piece is so realisic, and you put so much effort into the detail (that's present EVERYWHERE lol XD). My favorite part are the purple butterflies... the green and purple go along really well. The mist effect coming from the door is done really well, too- I can almost feel the cool breeze coming out. ^^
This is definitely deserving of a fav and a watch... keep up the wonderful work!

Cool. Feel kinda privileged to be inspecting/viewing a work you hold so highly. It is a masterpiece indeed. Sounds like you're pleased with it - which must be pleasing too! You've got such subtle and smooth lighting skills throughout your gallery. This is definitely one of your best. The stone arch kicks butt so badly... and the cape, and the trees, and the leaves. Awesome.

Good things come to those who wait. Better things come to those who act now. This picture is unliterally living proof, and is a truly stunning work of art. I feel like I can actually go inside the picture and already invision the story blooming within all those smooth colors and imaginative designs. Completely fave-worthy, you have intense talent that is simply screaming to be animated in the big time ^.^

What exactly is the point of faving any of your work? They are all so good, I'd fav them all if I could. I can't afford to buy your books but I've read the basic character descriptions and a bit about them. There is so much creativity and the plot is brilliant.
