Description
A psionic XCOM operative gets ready to use her abilities against the alien menace. What better way to defeat the aliens than to turn their own tricks against them.I loved the psionic abilities in XCOM - EU/EW and I am hoping they're back for XCOM 2. If our soldiers can get these abilities for XCOM 2 here's how I'd imagine them. With the resistance angle against the aliens I'd feel they'd be a bit more "creepy". Nothing like scaring the aliens off the planet.
Drawn and painted in Corel Painter 2015 with a Wacom Cintiq Companion. XCOM 2 is in development by Firaxis Games.

Fortunately for you, they are in the form of the mysterious 5th class; the Psi-operative.
Personally I was hoping they would have some engineer type class or a bow-wielding one, but they made this work work.

I love how she has a little smile that says "Paybacks a Bitch, huh?"
Also like the way you drew the hood. I've always though of the psi characters as a sort of "Sage, Magus, etc." group of people.

Neat drawing, Psionic skill tree may make a return but I suspect elements could be changed, we still don't know if their going to stick to the claim that the volunteer didn't die when the templeship blew up, mind you that was said before Xcom 2 was announced so who knows what's been changed.
I'll miss shen in the respect that he offers food for thought regarding situations like these we have to see what his daughter's views are, there's probably a difference in tone. I have my own theory that shen's 'at least their not playing computer games quip' was in reference to his daughter's lifestyle just as much as it leaned on the 4th wall.
Of course the nice touch on psi in EU was hearing the insanity of laugh and twisted tone the more you used it, but I imagine they may up more unsettling features, the sectoid's is bad enough as it is!

Mind you am very surprised that such a noble looking commander adkkitty.deviantart.com/art/Co… would be ok with such an unethical approach as mind control.
Now will the volunteer make a return is my 1 million dollar question.

I hope the volunteer doesn't show. I'd like these timelines to be seperate. I wouldn't be mad though if it did. As for Mind Control, I've actually only picked that perk once so I could get the Xavier acheivement on Steam. The Mind Fray and defensive skills I find more useful . This Commander does however understand the importance of being "bad ass" while kicking alien butt.
