Description
I have created this as part of my final assignment as a complimentary task.I have not designed this tutorial for the average illustrator user. You need to know how to use the pen tool and other basic features of illustrator.
All u need to know to making a vector is in here, however I cannot guarantee a perfect vector, as practise makes perfect.
Please let me know if you find bugs and spelling/grammatical errors as I have awhile before I have to submit it.
Please let me know if you follow it or if it helps as it will make the time I spent on it worth while.

Wow...this is amazing. I've wondered about how to make a person look realistic in a vector for the longest time; this will really help me out! Thanks! Also, I love the presentation layout! I take it that you're quite skilled in Flash? I'm asking because I'm currently taking a class on how to use Flash Pro 8 for my graphic design training. I was just curious as to how you did it.

I have been working on making my portrait picture into a vector... and it's taking me sooo long (a month and half, to be specific!) and I'm just halfway done!
I really want it to be realistic...hoping it would not look like blotchy, patches of colors....

Is the first thought that popped up in my head when I saw the TITLE for this tutorial.
I enjoy vectoring cars, pandas, and the occasional wanna-be iphone. But people... never got the guts to attempt it (along with skydiving, shark feeding, public speaking, and waxing). Iunno, there is something about people that I find hard to vector. Maybe it's my weird obsession with imperfect skin (Skin isn't suppose to be flawless dammit! Cheekbones don't look like that! Lips aren't shaped like that! GAH!).
Anyways, enough of that rambling. I just want to say tnx for even writing a tutorial like this. Kudos to you.
Okay, Critique time....
First of all, I'm glad you chose this layout for this tutorial. With my super slow computer it just drives me INSANE waiting for this super looonnnngggg image file to load itself. The colours are also very pleasing to the eye, with softness as it's main theme. Good choice on the colours of the text vs background.
I also enjoy the fact that you not only wrote about how to vector but what type of picture one should vector, where to find inspiration etc... It makes your tutorial more personal, and a glimps at your thought process always helps lol.
The only thing I have a problem with is the vocabulary. English isn't my first language lol I truely did have problems understanding parts of it (I'm okay now though, good ol' dictionary dot com). I realise for some parts of the tutorial you don't have much of a choice in what words to use. I hope you would keep what I said in mind though 
Lots to say...don't want to write an essay though xD. So I'll end it here by saying thanks again for the tutorial, it really helped!

And in 'scene' you put 'accept' instead of 'except'.
In 'misc.' you put 'I' instead of 'it' and you also put 'u' instead of 'you'.
