I agree with ~KPEKEP , this image gives a very rough and pixelled look. Perhaps it was the render resolution or something, or maybe an intentional effect to add to the shattering. The target-like center is quite symbolic, I like it.

It's partly deliberate and mostly from the compression of a smaller render. The full sized print (5000x7500) has some incredible details that don't show up here. There are wire mesh sections, shattered glass, and other abstract type of imagery, and almost all of it has a glassy shine to it. My goal was to make it look like glass that had been hit by a bullet, or thrown rock.

Thanks. I've been dodging around abstract type works so I decided to pull out the stops and let her rip. Only thing I didn't do was 2D work because I thought it didn't need it.

Very abstract. That was the only goal with this one, and looks like some people were caught unaware.
Have to see what happens next with the new formula. What I started today looks really interesting, but I haven't ran through any coloring algorythms yet.

Damn, you have a very good understanding of the formulas and everything else behind fractals. I think that is what inhibits me right now. For me, it's all random.
"Oh what does this do ... nope, not good. Oh this looks cool though". Maybe someday though.

Because of the amount of black in this it only took around 5 hours or so. Also got a great mix of oca's so it didn't kill the render time.

cool, the fractal fracture...fractured fractal... some of the things jutting in look like hypodermic needles or something.... and there's some neat stuff in other places in it too. This would be a hot fractal to have on a poster.

Thanks. There's a lot of things going on that didn't show up in the small version so I'm thinking of maybe colaging them into one piece to show the finer details. Always cool to look at a full sized render to see what's hidden that you don't see when making it or in the smaller version. Waiting on the prints department to approve this one also.

i am trying to learn how by starting from the jump oploroid camera i am great on digital but i think it's just luck. i think that is the best way to go. plus my camera is broken it will not close, so i am getting a shine almost like a huge orb.
